2017 Toy Drive for Zach's Toy Chest
What an amazing toy drive! We raised over $500 for toys for Zach's Toy Chest (the girls loved shopping for the kids!), and then received another $500+ worth of donated new toys! Zach's Toy Chest is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to benefit children of all ages receiving care at local NC hospitals. The mission of Zach’s Toy Chest is to raise enough donations to give every child a something special while receiving treatment.
Special thanks to Target in Apex for working with us to receive additional funds toward toys. Special thanks to Julie Ley who organized her girl tribe to not only get donations, but also did all the shopping at Target! Thanks as well to all who gave donations!
Shout out to Conner, a five year old from Cary, who donated bags and bags of toys! He asked for toys for his birthday for children in need instead of toys for himself. Wow! Way to make a difference.
